In addition to the numerous pieces of legislation it sponsors each year, CAL/ACEP also tracks a diverse portfolio of more than 100 bills of interest to its members. Here, you can find out which bills CAL/ACEP is tracking, the positions adopted by the Government Affairs Committee, including links to bill analyses, votes and histories. 2007-08 Sponsored Legislation and Other Legislation of Interest

The 2007-08 Session was a very successful one for CAL/ACEP. CAL/ACEP sponsored nine bills during the session, six of which passed through the Legislature and were put before the Governor. Of those six, three were signed into law: AB 3000 (Wolk), AB 3076 (Huffman) and SB 1236 (Padilla). Three others were vetoed: AB 1155 (Huffman), AB 2220 (Jones) and SB 981 (Perata).
